i got the deck for around $950, the alarm was $2** dont really remember, steering wheel IR control $49 and all the work was custom done free cuz im the installers bro.

yup, it isnt connected to the head unit itself, its a box that hooks up to the steering wheel control wires, and u program the wheel control buttons with the remote control for the head unit, so ur wheel buttons turn into a remote and my IR eye is the little dot near the passenger airbag light. hope that made sense

I was going to get one but it just seems like they sit so low, camparied to an In-Dash like the Avic-N2 or any other tv that pops out and flips up. Sweet pics though :-)

if it seems to sit low, my kenwood has a tilt u can adjust if u cant see it good.

fold outs break alot faster than the indash ones..
5 year warrent on it so if it does """ CRAP OUT"""" its coverd

thats good it covered by warranty for that long. also the fold outs dont break easily unless u really abuse it, the one in my mercedes, still seems brand new after 1 1/2yrs. as long as ur not tryin to break it ur fine

I was thinking about getting the deck you have bowtie. Do you think a shop could do install like your brother did with your car?

yea im sure they can, but take it to a good installation place not some crappy ass place, like hear the major places r audio express, and the specialist( which my bro works for) but they get all kinds of vehicles in that the place they took it to ie: best buy, audio express, f'ed it all up. wires everywhere, nothing done profesionally. so take it to a good recomended place, i wanted to take pics but i forgot my camera. wasnt anything hard.
