In Dash PSP with pics

For the past month or so I have been working on building a new dash piece to hold a new radio and a PSP. Now it is finally done, although It does need some touch up work but that can wait for now.
I made it out of a piece of wood, cut it to fit, put small padding down around the fronts and sides, and then wrapped/stapled the fabric over. I would rather have done it with fiberglass but I dont know how to.
Over all I like it. It will be good for putting some movies on while going down to the beach in the summer and they are coming out with a GPS unit for it. Any comments appreciated, good or bad.

Nice job... I just wish they had a wireless controller for the PSP for ya. Now that would be sweet. For once, I wouldn't want to drive on long trips so I could just sit there and play video games!

Pretty neat..but why? You have to take it out to put discs in it don't you?

Looks cool though, just be careful, people will try to steal it.

I did it because I wanted to have some sort of TV in my car but didnt feel like buying a $400+ one. Yes it uses UMD discs but it also works just like an MP3 Player. You can save songs on to it along with videos and pictures. With it hooked up to my radio it plays throughout the whole car. Yeah, I take it out whenever Im not in my neighborhood or in my car.

Agreed. It is neat. Could you fiberglass that in and leave a mold for the PSP? Would look much better IMO.
