Door speaker problem quick question

Found a sweet deal on Infinity Kappa 60.9's. These are the component speakers...

The tech I talked to said they don't fit in alot of cars since the magnet is big on them...according to the website the Mounting Depth is 2-7/16"... anyone running these right now, will they fit?

Thanks a ton!

My Pioneer 720PRS's are almost 3 inches and after my MDF adapter plate, they still have like an inch of clearance.

I was thinking of installing some 8" shallow mount Pioneer subs, so I don't think you'll have any problem installing those. (and if those aren't big enough, I was going to install Some JBL GTi6.5" components too. (there huge) So Have fun. there is alot of room to use a spacer too.

Lots of water down the door insides though, so either put them in a cover of some sort, or as I did, Hot glue over the connections to keep them from rusting up.
