I really like it when I let someone merge and they tap their brakes 3 times to acknowledge it. But I think it should all be common etiquette.

Hell the rest of the world thinks the horn is a courtesy except for us.

Well you know like in a traffic situation when somebodies trying to get into the lane. You don't have to slam on the brakes to activate the light. I just wave my hand up generally with all my fingers showing so they don't think I'm flipping them off haha.
