E BRake ground...

ok so i ripped apart my center consol thingy looking for the e-brake ground so mny in dash dvd player will work and i cant find it.. and can some one please tell me what the damn wire looks like? possible a picture of how you did yours would be awesome if u got one ?

You are looking for the switch that tells the car the e-brake is on, right?
It's on the back of the e-brake handle assembly, towards the rear of the car.

Park Brake Warning Lamp Switch Replacement
Removal Procedure




Remove the front floor console upper trim plate. Refer to Trim Plate Replacement - Console Front in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
Disconnect the warning lamp switch electrical connector (2).
Remove the warning lamp switch mounting screw (1).
Remove the switch from the park brake lever assembly.
Installation Procedure




Align the park brake warning lamp switch locating tab to the locating hole on the park brake lever assembly.
Install the switch to the park brake lever.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install the park brake warning lamp switch mounting screw (1).

Tighten
Tighten the screw to 3 Nˇm (27 lb in).

Connect the park brake warning lamp switch electrical connector (2).
Install the front floor console upper trim plate. Refer to Trim Plate Replacement - Console Front in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
Verify correct park brake warning lamp operation.
