Factory Amp output?

Does anyone know if the output of the factory amp in the Pioneer7 speaker system is full range or is it crossed over in the amp? I know how the power is split up to the speakers just wondering if the output signals are full range or filtered?

I'm 99% sure there is a cross over in the amp.

they are filtered to some extent at the amp... tweet and sub for sure midranges might be full range but they may have some sort of bass filter too

Today I wanted to find out more about the wiring at the factory pioneer amp in my 06 SS/NA
I took the amp out and unpluged all 3 of the connectors, I found the speaker output wires and traced them to the speakers except I could not find any separate speaker wires for the front tweeters, I read that the amp output was 2ch -tweeters,2ch-front woofers,2ch-rear6x9 and sub bridged of those. Any one know if there are separate tweeter wires at the amp?

I located those at the amp connector, I was expecting to find separate wires for the tweeters also. I only traced 4 sets of wires to speakers on that connector, along with the 4 wires for the sub on the other connector, the third connector had the inputs from the radio on it. Have you looked at the wires in the door going to the tweeters? are they the same and connected to the woofers in the door? I think I will do some more playing tomorrow and just pull the door panels off and look myself, was going to wait until I got my new speakers in but maybe I should just do it.

Tried that, you can hear the woofers, can't be sure but I thought I heard from the tweeters at the same time, I am going to try some other things to see if I can be sure.

i think i got an answer to this.. thought i had a blow woofer on my right door so i took out the woofer and tested the ohm's said it was 4ohms and then i tested the tweeter and it was 4 ohms so most people on here say that the stock speakers are 2 ohms so im guessing that the tweet and the woofer are paralelled to bring it to two ohms.. so thats why your only getting two sets of wires for the front woofers... hope that helps

Ya I ment to update also, I did my component wiring for the doors and found this out. Stock tweets and woofers have their own wires at the speakers from the connector between the door but only one set wires from the amp.
