factory sub woofer
factory sub woofer
We have a 2006 SS with the MP3 system in it, just the 4 speakers that the factory supplies. My question is, will the pioneer sub woofer that is standard with the upgraded system plug right into our car? Is the wiring harness already in place? Thanks

this is what is says on the site...
"Metra Turbo installation kit for DIN / DIN ISO mount headunit with Pocket . Metra Turbo Wire Cable system which plugs directly into factory harness ...no cutting..color coded for easy installation. Metra GM Antenna Adapter ..adapts aftermarket radio antenna into GM stock antenna wire. This kit is a direct fit and very easy to assemble and install . Comes with all directions and can be completely reversed for install of factory headunit again ......NO CUTTING OF ANY FACTORY WIRES
*05+ cobalt radio harness does not have a accessory lead. An accessory lead will need to be obtained from another source. Also all of the factory warning chimes will no longer function. For radios with driver information center built in , the removal of the radio will prohibit the owner from programming any of the features of the driver information center. However once the features are programmed the vehicle will retain all the settings. If the setting ever need to be changed you can simply plug the factory radio back in and change the functions .....but once set most people never have to go back in and change them. *******A kit is in the works by metra that includes a display for these functions and buttons to program the driver information center ...but it is acouple months down the road and will be pricey***** "
