The mystery one you posted definitely looks like an oem ground
yeah i currently have it grounded off underneath the coolant tank with two other grounds. so i dont think thats the issue. I mustve fried something when I attached it to the positive post like an idiot. the question is what did i fry...

Jumped my battery and the voltage jumped to around 13.6V but still no crank. Just one click.

Checked all the relays by attaching them to the battery with wires and testing the resistance with a multimeter. They all checked out. Fuses all seem fine as well.

ITS ALIVE!!!

Sooooooooo long story short I'm an idiot lol. After spending hours and hours today reading about all possible solutions and how to test various things I get under my car to try and check the starter/solenoid with a multimeter and out the corner of my eye I see this wire thats not connected to anything. So after all my reading I was like that must be a ground I missed!

Upon further inspection...its the ******* power wire for the starter lmao.
I now have two wires connected to my fusebox terminal again.
Turned the ignition and heard her roar once again.

I still don't remember ever seeing two wires going to that post but obviously my memory was wrong.
