Gauge Pod
Going to be getting some gauges and I have some questions.
What is the best fitting gauge pod for the A pillar? anyone have pics of theirs or links?
Also, I have the side curtain air bags sense mine is an 09.. Can i just replace the plastic piece that's there with the gauge pod? or will that fly off and hit me if my air bags ever go off?

So I can't have an A pillar gauge pod..... Are there any other types for our cars?
I'd like to avoid mounting them with ugly brackets straight to the dashboard.

There is a guy in Chicago who makes custom steering bezel pods so that the gauges will then sit in front of your speedo/tach.
He's not an official vendor on here, so PM me for more info on it, if you're interested...

I don't have a triple pod and when I had the a pillar off don't remember seeing any air bag stuff although I didn't really look. If they can put a stock gauge in,i don't see why a triple pod would be any different or dangerous. I have a 09 ss/tc btw
Your curtian air bags are in your headliner right above the door. The reason they say do not put a pod pillar there is when the air bag deployed the pillars moves out of the way, and a aftermarket pillar may get stuck or in the airbags way, send a guage fyling at you etc
