Is it possible to just switch out a gauge cluster form an 05 sedan to an 06 coupe or does the dealership have to do something for it to work in my car. They are both 2.2l with the same gauge face.

 

i believe that all the guages are interchangeable...

 

yes it is i just did mine, but i have on 07 and i switched it with an 05/06 ss/na and they work just fine, but the DIC doesn't work. So if you do the swap make sure you get it from the same year car...

 

I would say just dont get it from an 07 if you're putting it into an 05/06. That is the year they switched so that the DIC is controlled by the stereo if memory serves me

 

like i said get one from the same year car that you have... 07 swap with 07

i'm pretty sure that 05/06 used the same part, but i'll look into it...

 

I know I was just pointing out he was going from an 05 to 06 so that should be fine.

 

Ok thanks im gonna see how much they want for the parts car from our frame project. As soon as i find that damn SD card with the pictures on it ill post up the pics from what we've done so far. W got it all pulled and the back half cut off both cars. We're hoping to have it welded together tomorrow.
