Question Gmos-lan-04 + kenwood ddx719

It has been a long time since I've been here. On my last visit I had a 2006 blk 2dr ls. Sadly, i have sold her. So what brings me here now you ask? My 2009 T/C w/ pioneer. I have had the car about a year now and have decided to upgrade my headunit.

project info:
Kenwood DDX719 7" touch DVD unit
Gmos-lan-04 (metra)
Color-matched (nickel) bezel from Metra
9x 90degree shortie RCA adapters (for clearance and have not arrived yet.)
Soon to have an electric antenna and remove/shave the stock rc car antenna.

Now, for the problem...

The system sounds amazing, test install went without a hitch, onstar and chime levels needed no adjustment and everything works great.

However.. I've noticed my stock pioneer Sub does not hit anywhere near as hard now as it did with my stock hu. I've done some bing/google n yahoo searches, a search on here and other forums. But i cannot seem to find someone with the same issue and worse yet, no resolution so in the event that i am missing something... (which im sure i might be)

I would like to ask you guys for help. Have any of you run i to this before? If so how did you resolve it? Or do any of you have any ideas that might help.
I Greatly appreciate any help you guys could provide. Thanks!

as for the high pass filter, i did not see an option while floating through my settings. any idea in where this setting is?

i'm also wondering if i dont have my gmos output turned up enough, my half volume lvl is around 26 (of 34.) to the point where my audio is almost completely unnoticable at level 16.

should i consider raising this?

ya probably but id look into the high pass filter first. pretty solid that will be the main cause. check the audio menu vs the settings menu and see if u can find it there
