GMOS-Lan 04 NO VSS?
I paid a hundred dollars for my Pioneer AVIC-D3 to be installed with the GMOS-LAN 04 harness along with the steering wheel adapter and the bypass. The installer charged me $15 extra for a new antenna too. He said that there was no VSS wire to hook it up to. I searched and everyone was sayin the green and white wire, but that was an old thread. Is it different for 07s and the GMOS-LAN 04 harness?
Also my chimes are different and when i turn the key the chime is really annoying. Is there anyway to make it quieter?
Can someone please help me ASAP!!!

Thanks. Can anyone answer my other questions? The first one is the most important and I really can't find an answer for that anywhere on the internet. Can i tap into the harness on the GMOS LAN 04 harness and does it have an accurate VSS wire?
If I remember, someone was able to get it to work. I will try to dig and find the post.

05/06 didn't need the VLAN harness. 07 does but it doesn't specify that you need to tap into other wires. .

As for the chime being annoying, do you mean it got louder than before? If so, the owners manual has a section that tells you how to change the volume along with all the other DIC tweaks. I think there are only two volume settings for it (normal and loud).
Theres one other problem iv been having with the install. Everytime i use the nav or switch to video, a warning pops up. Anybody know why?
Rep for tryin to help tho and everyone else who helped.
