Head unit adapter

Is there an adapter that would aloud the use of an 08 Gm head unit out of cobalt to work with a 02 Montana?

no because newer radios use GM LAN data to turn on... they use the data for a varrity of things but at the very least need it to turn on. Also the montana radio is a din and a half where as the cobalt radio is bigger than a double din. On those style radios ive seen an aftermarket double did barely fit rigged up so the stock radio which is bigger than an aftermarket double din would never fit. not even close
