Help with indash DVD player

After about 20 mins of searcing for everything possible i couldnt find anything, my indash dvd player will be here this afternoon, and i was wondering if you guys knew how to ground out the dvd player so my passangers can watch it while i am driving, best buy told me "i cant tell you that i woint be help responsible" which i understand completly.. i was just wondering if i can ground it the chassis some where under the car or not

With my pioneer avic d1 all you had to do was ground the parking brake wire.

correct it should work if you just ground the green ground wire... but some units require you to do a code of parkingbrake/brake sequences... but you can buy a pac unit to plug in and your good to go

no but you might have to pay for it... or try all kinds of braking

i figured it out, just attached the yellow and green e-brake wire to a ground under my dash, ill never personally watching the thing while i drive, i just wanted to do it so it will work if it has to
