First off, my car is DIFFERENT than the one in the How to section, that is a 2.4 and must be an older car than mine.

You can see part of the transmission wiring harness in red.

on my car there is NO set of wires going in that direction, there are several wire looms in the area, none of which that could be it. There is a wire loom going to to the transmission to the lower left of this, but there is no RED wire at all in the loom. Also if i look inbetween the fuse box and valve cover to that 2" diameter plug, the wires from that dont run forwards like they do on this car in the how to.


So im wondering if anyone has a similar issue as me, sorry i cant get pics right now but I still wanted to get the thread up. Ill take pics soon.

And im sure of this because at the NE mod day, we pulled a 05 coupe LS right next to mine and it had the transmission wiring in the same spot as the picture above mine didnt.
