Help Installing a Deck In A Neon!
So i picked up this neon for winter, had a casset sony deck in it already..shotty job of installing it..whatever..went to future shop today..picked up a USB/AUV jvc deck for 69.99 and some front spaekers.
So i pull the old deck out and notice the connecting harness isnt matching to the new deck..what do i do? i've never installed decks/speakers before

Oh and do a search next time and research some.....
If you don't know what you are doing be prepared to blow fuses and or something else....You are better off having someone else install it if you don't know.

That deck is useless with out its main harness that you would splice into your factory deck....why do you make threads when i call u and tell you the answer already lol.
I love you buddy ,...return that deck and get your monies back or a deck you can use lol
the first 1 is the one you need
i will most likely be installing it for him

A) Hard wired the Sony harness into the car.
B)Had the factory deck installed on the car.
Since He said that there was a Sony in there I assume they already had the other harness but gave him the link just in case it wasn't there. Hard wiring a after-market deck into a car is bad news.....
He could need both of them if the previous owner:

Thanks but this is where your common sense was gone. The deck didnt come with the needed harness..even the guys at future shop laughed at the person who sold me this (i bought it at future shop earlier that morning) they sold me a sony deck..wired it up and it works great.
