Ok, so a few weeks ago i was out and when i got to my car(05 ss) my battery seemed week, however it started. I was low on gas so stopped at a gas station a mile down the road, left my radio on as i filled up. when i went to start my car it wouldnt start, so i got a jump. Now since that day my radio wont shut off, even with car turned off key out and door opened. It is a pioneer avic-x910bt. Radio normally shuts off when i open the door with the key off. Ive had the unit for about 2 years and never had an issue. Any ideas on what could be wrong?

 

do you have a sound system? where you installing/modding any wires before this happened?

 

everything is completely stock except the head unit(which was put in 2 years ago). Wasnt doing anything to the car, just normal driving. Never had any problems in the past with the unit.

 

disconnect the battery for a couple minutes... also, just try for a couple minutes, opening and closing all doors a couple times. and locking and unlocking the car. happened to me a couple times.
