So I have a 2006 G5 and it did not come with XM, Today I won a Factory GM XM box from junk cobalt, I also ordered an antenna and cable from GM to connect to the Factory desk

Question is where by default is the XM box located to, I heard some people say it was in the back but the cable from gm is not long enough to reach.

 

Does anyone have the part number for the cable to connect the Factory 2006 Deck to the XM MODULE? GM Is trying to sell me the Ipod cable

 

no idea on the cable check the parts dept thread... but the factory XM was located on the rear deck

 

called GM again today 1400.00 for the cable they said it's not just XM alone it's a main harness from front to back of the car, going to look and see if I have it.

no luck that cable is not in my car, some other people are stating that in teh G5 teh xm is in the dash

is this right
