HID problem, please help... video

So, was installing my retrofits and HIDs. Took a little while to get them in with the big harness, but no problems.

Anyways, I had them both working fine and turned my car on with my hood still open. Well apparently the wiring harness for the right side was leaning on the supercharger belt/pulley and my stupidity i didn't check good enough. I tried shutting the car off in time when i realized but it caught the wire enough to just nick it. Now my passenger side hid doesn't work and it makes a clicking sound as you can hear in the video.

The only wire that was caught was the positive wire leading to the hids. It only looks like it sliced the wire covering and the metal itself looks untouched.

Anyone got an idea what's the problem? I don't know if you can see it on the video but the hid bulb sparks for a quick second but doesn't turn on, and the ballast is really loud.

I didn't experiment with it to much yet, could it be a fuse or the bulb or ballast itself or because the wire was cut?

ANY HELP???

Pic of the wire.

the force of the wire being pulled from the belt, might have caused it to come unplugged to whatever it was plugged into, take out the headlight and the braket and make sure everything is completely plugged in, if you have to, unplug everything and redo it, and then if it doesnt work, might have to take the wire that was cut, and wire nut it back together to get it to work, try both of those things.

I would try cutting the red wire and re-splicing it back together, when the ballast dont get the proper current to fire the bulbs off they will flicker and then shut off, usually caused by a bad connection somewhere, and since they were fine before the red wire got sliced that is probably the issue.

I would say it shorted out and screwed your ballast....

That's what i'm thinking since it hit the pulley likely shorted out being that the engine is also ground.

OK, I found out the problem. the wire going into the HID bulb came out. Looks like it was soldered in. Problem now is the plastic around thats around the wire is stuck in that little hole because when it came out it was just the metal and I cant get a connection inside. I tried getting that **** out with a little screwdriver, but it didn't work.

I actually had it going for a little while until i put the headlight back in it must of moved, then i tried crazy glue and now more of the rubber piece is in there.

Anybody have any suggestions? Can I take that black holder thing apart from the bulb? I don't want to touch something so small and delicate because it seems like it's hit or miss.

Best bet would be to get new bulbs and roll with one headlight until they get there. Probably still have better output than stock headlights, lol.
