HIDs vs radio reception...

So I just got home and didn't have aux cord in the car so I was listening to the radio -_- and my reception wasn't **** but I could barely hear the local station that I normally like.( I do have the MPX shorty antenna) Once I got in my driveway I turned my lights off and the signal cleared up immediately... I tried it again to make sure I was crazy, with my headlights and fogs same result when my lights where on static / off no static.

Anyone with an idea why this is happening??

thanks!

Im having this issue as well

my thread: https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/prob...please-288921/

i found that i get even with the lights off, but if i flash the high-beams the issue goes away temporarily. i need to check all of my grounds, just haven't had time to tear into the car.

OP, I remember helping you out with you HID's a while back. Do you still have the same setup from before?

Another suggestion is if you still have the original antenna to give it a try. Just my thoughts.

Yeah it's still the same setup, and I don't even know what I did with my old antenna ha. But I sorta think it has something to do with the antenna, I had some problems getting it setup, Idk maybe something has come loose

are you running relays on your HID kits? That would likely solve your issue
