hear ye hear ye, i know all.... lol but seriously when i looked up the specs on the deck it only had a 100hz crossover not an adjustable one so there shouldnt be any settings to mess with. EIther way thou give me a couple more specifics, are you sure the filter settings are being saved? is the actual bass setting itself at 0 or higher? whats the eq settings you have?
i also do car audo installation... if u really want to get rid of the bass on certain speakers you can splice in bass blockers/capacitors on the speakers postive wire and it will take car of it 100%
its hard to explain
you can select either HPF or LPF and then on the same menu you can select some kind of 12db slope for either the HPF or LPF....heres a link to the manual
http://www.eclipse-web.com/us/downlo...ents/3001.html
you click on the "sound adjustment mode" then go to the bottom and select "crossover adjustment (x-over) to read about it

try selecting only the HPF and see what happens. give me a sec with the manual (i work at a eclipse dealer i should know this **** right?.... nope)
just read it... sounds easy enough. Just make sure to
press select on the x-over
enter to activate
enter to switch from LPF & HPF (stop at HPF)
and select one more time to turn it to the on position

ill keep trying though, should the filter cut out ALLL bass from the speakers?
mmm sorta. no crossover cuts out everything. they are all slopes and the way it works is each octave reduces by the value of the crossover. so in your case, at an octave below 100hz its -12db
you should hear a noticeable difference thou
