Yes you can do it. It depends on which stereo you get as to what type of interface you need. You also need to make sure that the aftermarket radio has a wired remote input as this is what you use for your controls. As stated above you need to give the unit power, ground, and get the correct interface wire, and then program your controls.

I don't have the stuff for it yet but I was just wandering if it was possibl before I did it. I don't much use the controls on the steering wheel but I want to be able to use them if I wanna. lol

I wouldn't go to best buy. I've asked for what I need from them before and they were totally wrong. You're better off asking here. Get the part numbers you need and buy the stuff online.

Check out the web site of Pacific Accessory Corporation. They have steering wheel modules for just about every aftermarket radio. I got one of theirs for my Pioneer z110bt. You should buy this type stuff online. There are so many different versions and models, that if a store even has the right one in stock, you'll end up paying much more than buying it online. Just Google the PAC part number and find the cheapest -yet reliable- vendor.
Here's a link to their steering wheel module page: http://www.pac-audio.com/Products.aspx?CategoryId=29
