Christ dude
This is the 3rd time I've read this post. Have some patience.
Most people do have work during the day and can't be online checking the forums.

lmao, i think it comes off somewhat easy, not sure cuz i have no reason to rip my dash up but try going at it, i heard it pops out.

What makes it "So Urgent?"

I can very easily post directions for removal/installation of any Cobalt component you need....but you need to specify exactly what you mean by "dash"...do you just mean the center trim around the radio....the top panel all the way across the car, the ENTIRE dash/instrument panel assembly?? what do you need access too???

Vent access....left:

Remove the steering column opening filler assembly(by pulling)Tilt the steering wheel up.
Release the left-hand instrument panel (I/P) trim plate assembly by pulling away from the I/P retainer.
Disconnect the I/P dimmer switch and, if equipped, the fog lamp switch.

Right:
Pull out on the trim panel in order to release the retaining fasteners.

you have to PULL.....its gonna seem like you might break pieces...just be patient.
