How do you mount YOUR XM?

I have the XM unit for my SS SC but mounting has always been an issue. I had it plungered to the windshield but I don't like the way that looks and it falls off all the time (winter comes around so there is a lot of moisture on the windshield which gets under the plunger and it always falls while im driving which is NOT cool!).

I also had it in the vent which is really unstable imo and I hate how the wires run all over the place.

Questions:

1) How do you mount YOUR XM receiver (or sirius I guess) ?

&

2) Is there anyway to go about it other than the FM Modulator without spending a fortune? I hate having stupid wires running all over the place and no matter how good the FM modulator quality is, it just can't compare to MP3.

I have a paid subscription with my unit sitting around doing nothing right now.

Please help.

Same here. Nothing sounds better and looks better than OEM XM!

I have my sirius sitting in the cupholder with its sucky thing for the windshield. Really dont like it and will be ordering a bracket for it this week sometime. If you do a search you can find which bracket I am talking about. I think it is universal but not 100% sure. I have an Eclipse H/U so I have Aux Input that takes just about anything with audio out. Pretty clean install I think I will hardwire the powers when I move it to the bracket.

Looks like that'd require me to drill though *eek* that WOULD be the best way otherwise.

I guess we don't have an AUX though right? So I'm stuck with Modulator?

Drill??? Where? There are some directions near the bottom as well as a tool list. According to that there will be no drilling necessary. \
