Does anyone know a site to get and in dash head unit. Want a touch screen with DVD and navi. See ones on eBay for cheap but a little scared to try them. Also are they hard to wire up?

Thanks!

This^

I just scored a Pioneer X40BT for $400 shipped on eBay brand new still sealed in the original box. And that radio retails anywhere from $550-$800. You just gotta find deals!

Ebay and amazon are both good places. Just be sure to get name brand products (pioneer, kenwood, etc), and check the sellers feedback

I work for an internet provider in the Business Dept. I do all our router configs and such for clients. I'm working on getting a dash mod together using android or ipad tablets. Lots of them on utube. Will do music, nav, etc. for internet access going to hotspot my iphone. Should be able to get it together for under $1000 I hope.

I got a Kenwood DNX6180 headunit refurbished on eBay for less than half the cost of a new one. It's not for everyone, because the menus are a little slow (but everytime there's an update it gets slightly faster).

Like mentioned before, find what you want, then look at eBay to compare prices.

I have a Pioneer AVIC-D3 and like it a lot, just buy a reputable brand from a reputable seller and you'll be fine.
