does anybody kno of an installation site with pictures because my friend gave me a free headunit because it stopped working for him and he didnt want to try and fix it and since i am into fixing things especially a pretty sweet alpine headunit, i was wondering if any one knows wat the problem might be or know anyone who can help...Its sitting in my car waiting to be fixed its driving me crazy...any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

yeah like does it turn on? that would be a good start.

 

no, it doesnt turn on but i did get sparks from wires so i guess its getting power. and also when i touch the ground to steel i hear a sound from the door speakers, just a light sound when i touch it .

 

It's fried don't even bother to try and fix it, your better off just buying a new one.
