Installing a new Head unit back plate
Installing a new Head unit back plate
I am installing an new head unit a JVC KW-XR610. I can get the unit to fit but I have to smash the back wiring against the metal plate that held the stock radio. What did everyone do with that back plate? Did you cut/ drill a hole for the wires and connectors or did you just leave it? If you cut / drilled what did you use to do it?
Was it easy to remove? Also Where is the plastic? is it something that is easy to see and cut out? I have a 2005
Here is a pic I found where do I cut?
