Ipod adapter???

I have an 09 cobalt with the xm raido I have noticed several different adapters to directly wire an ipod into the factory deck, the standart aux imput does not give the best sound and i have also noticed several of these adapter kits also allow you to control the ipod from the stock deck, as well as displaying the artist/ track info ect. Has anyone used one of these and what are your recomendations?
Thanks
Adam

You can get a personal audio link that gives control of the iPod through the factory deck and wheel controls, but this has been known to be sluggish. And aftermarket deck with a USB in or a better quality aux-in is affordable as well.
