where to put cd changer

For once i have a question... anyone have any good ideas where in hell i can fit a cd changer in my car? Yes i know i dont really need one but we have one at the shop and it would be nice. Im waniting it to be horizontal over vertical thou to hopefully minimize problems with vibrations even thou i know i will have them

Emp there's a fairly good bit of room in the drivers side footwell area. Take the panel off and have a look there. If there's enough room to mount it there then that's possibly an option? Just cut a hole in the panel so the face of the changer can stick out... You know what I mean. If it'll work that'll be a good spot because it'll be easy to access.

I missed this one!

Don't know if you have installed it yet but have you thought about the glove box?
Of course that depends on how big your changer is

There is a indent in the rear deck (if you pop up the rear deck cover you can see into the support) If your unit is one of the smaller 10 disks you can probably fit it in there and make a face plate for the whole you cut in the metal. (can face into the trunk or into the back seat with the seats down) and you'd still have room for your amps on the top or bottom of the rear deck. (and the amps won't cause any problems with the Changer)
