Question iPod connection question

Hey Guys,
I have a 2006 Cobalt LS with the stock cd player in it and I was wondering the best way to hook it up to my CD player. I have the cheap wireless transmitter for now but I was hoping you all could help me out. Thanks a bunch in advance!

gm makes an accessory to connect your ipod to the system. its called the PAL (personal audio link) and it will display your iPod information on the cd player's screen

I hear the PAL is good cause it allows u to run the ipod interface on the factory stereo including song, artist, and album selection...

If your going to keep your stock headunit then you should look at in all in one. My brother uses an all in one ( cradle, fm transmitter, charger) and it works really good. The key thing is the charger, this way the batt. never runs dead on you. I myself hate everything and anything to do with ipod/itunes, too much BS, in formating and so on. Plus they expect you to pay for music, WTF IS THAT?
This will work even with your but what I did was got a HU with a USB port on the front so I could plug flash drives , although now there are a dozen of them roaming about my car but its better than CD's getting scratched
Here's a link to the all in one I was talking about, but be warned you guys are all slaves to the Ipod (kidding)

The PAL isn't compatible with my cd player. It is only for the older ones. I think that I'll just have to stick with my POS fm transmitter for now and then save up for a headunit.

Ebay Link

This can be had off Ebay and works with the 2006 radio. It does the same thing as the GM PAL.
