Ok, so Ive read through the posts on hooking up an mp3 player to a 06 radio and the results aren't pretty. Here is my question for those who have ripped the stereo out before -

If I dont have satellite radio, can I patch my mp3 player into that input? How does that all work? And if so, what do I need...

I really want high quality sound and satellite radio has a higher quality sound than FM (obviously), which would lead me to believe it would have a higher quality input into the unit as well. Ideas?

 

Get a aftermarket deck ! You won't regret it.

 

lol that is last resort...I love that the stock radio looks like its meant to be there. The minute you throw an aftermarket radio in...doesnt match imo.
