I bought two 12" sony xplods from a friend, with a peak wattage of 1,300 and an RMS of 380. All I need is to buy a good amp for it, but since money is tight thatll take a month or so. Since the SS pioneer system has an amp already in it, is it possible to wire the two subs to my stock system and take the stock 10" sub out while I wait?

If it matters, the headunit is upgraded to a 4 ohm output double din dvd headunit (pioneer).

Also suggestions on what kind of amp to get would be appreciated. Not so much brand as in specs.

 

is it possible yes is it a good idea no. you might be lucky and get 15w to each sub if u do that

 

bad idea on explodes but no youll want to get an amp to power those

 

for an amp ild say go find a 750 w amp to keep them sounding good and not having them peak power theyll sound the best like that.
