I'm using the stock sub box with a Rockford Fosgate P2 sub and I ran the factory amp into a bridged 250 watt per channel Kicker amp.

Does that count?

So far I am pretty happy with the stock pioneer system with the sub. I guess the pragmatic loser in me is concerned with the fact that I DO want the ability to hear when I am older. For me, the attention of having a booming system isn't worth the hassle anymore because that was so high school. Whenever I hear loud, earth-rattling bass coming from a car, I am always looking for the Chachi in his Mustang 5.0 pumping the 50 Cent.

That's just my opinion on the matter.

i wouldnt recommend mixing subwoofer sizes do to the loss of sound quality (then again most people just want to hear noise anyway)

i didnt notice any lose in quality. And im not one of those crank it up and hit hard or go home. I just like a little bump in the trunk to go with the sound.

Mixing isn't really the problem. Mixing without tunning the sound through an eq is.
