LED question!

I found some HID werks LEDs and they are 3157, I tried them in my tail lights and they worked but wouldn't light up when I pressed the brake, so I'm wondering if anyone knows of 3157 LEDs that will work in the tail lights, and if someone could help me with the rapid blinker problem too that would be great!

There are two kinds of leds, single and dual filament. You need a dual for running plus brake lights (and blinkers)
First thing to try is plug the bulb into the socket upside down.
If that doesn't work you probably have the wrong bulb.
As for hyper blinking, you'll need to install resistors on either side. search Ebay for 50W 6ohm resistors they should be around 8 bucks for a set of 2. hook them up between the positive and negative of your bright (brake.blink) light harness and mount them away from anything flamable/meltable since they will get pretty hot.

Okay, I think the bulbs I have we're made specifically for blinkers since they go from white to amber. So just need to find somewhere with good LEDs. Do you know of anywhere?

I put 194 LEDs in my brake lights. No resistors.

Yes but it doesn't matter. Bulb sizes don't change between models.

About an inch. I bought 10 from eBay and put them in my map lights, license plate light, reverse lights and trunk light.

ya i dont think switchbacks will work for the brake but you can try turning them around and see if that changes anything. brake lights are indeed 3157
