Hey all-

Just wondering--

Does my 05LS have keyless installed? I didnt get a remote when I bought it, but I am curious if it does. The main reason for my confusion is that I dont see either lock RPOs in the trunk, but I have power locks. I ran my VIN on a site that checks and it says it has keyless standard. And there is something in the DIC about RKE.

I am wanting to get a remote so when I take it in for the recall, they will reprogram my remote too.

Yes, at least according to cars.com a 2005 LS does come standard with RKE...

Get some Fobs and the dealer can program them. I did this for a 2006 ION. Make sure you get two Fobs and get them both programmed at once.
