LED Wiring...

So It has been 6 years since I took an electronics class in HS. I just ordered some LEDs from ebay that come with the resistors for 12V applications. When I wire these, Do I need I resistor for each LED? Im going to put 8 in the cup holder and 2 in each door handle. Im assuming I should just be able to run it in parallel and put 1 resistor at the begining on the positive side and be fine. am I correct in this assumption? Thanks.

I don't know if it's correct or not, but that's how I would wire them up.

yes you must puit a resistor on each led and you can wire them up in series. the longer prong and smaller of the 2 pieces (in the diode itself) will be your pos
