Loc question

I've been reading and reading and I get two answers.... Loc gets installed on sub wires and loc gets installed on rear deck speakers... Can someone help cause I have it on the sub wires and well right now it's not really working.

Factory hu, rf p3d4-10 inverted with reverse polarity to a massive n2 amp with gain turned down low till I figure out why it's not working first.

A LOC connects to your rear speaker wires to create a RCA signal for your aftermarket amplifier.

ok what wires did you tap? and what LOC are you using?

tapping sub is better however both work. reason why most say tap rear speakers is because thats the conventional answer

In my 2008 ss I tapped right before the original sub connector. I'm using a PAC sni-35 and wired it according to the shop manuals I have.

what shop manual?

do this unplug the stock sub, get a 9v battery and with some speaker wire and touch the pos/neg of the battery to a red and a black on the connector. If the sub moves then attach your LOC to those corresponding wires on the other side. then attach the 2 remaining LOC wires to the other 2 wires you have left.

Good to know. Chevy/Pioneer did it all right, just not enough power.
