each deck is specific to the cars vin #, so the deck u got from the other person locked up when in your car because it recognizes a different vin # and the radio thinks its stolen. Best bet is to go to the dealer and reflash it with your vin #.

actually i was after market, b ut said screw it and went back to stock. this was me who posted this i forgot ot log out buddy's account when i posted this. lol

try this, but i think its for the older ones only...
when it says loc on the screen (without the vehicle running) hold buttons 2 and 3 for 5 seconds and 3 digits will pop up (write these down). then push the am/fm button and 3 more digits should come up (write these down too). then hit am/fm to get it back to the regular screen loc or sec or --- screen. post these numbers up and ill get you the code and give you the rest of the instructions on how to unlock.
