The 10s were from 120 to 400, with the 15s at 150 and below. Tuned em with the EQ so where they overlapped they were under graduated output. Took a while tuning but I wonted a smooth cross over.

The 15s I was using were good up to 200hz. However, with the tunning, at 150hz they were hitting at something like -36db.

*Edit*

Just a quick note. I wouldn't suggest trying this with modern day subwoofers. The design has changed a lot, with a great many having trouble producing sound over 60~90hz.

Your box size will also effect that. Remember the Iron Law. Deep Bass, Small Enclosure, Power Efficient: take any two.

we had a guy hit 155db and he had a remote radio in the back of his truck, cause there is no way you could stand the pounding inside the cab
Ive hit steady in the 150's (termlab mic) and hes right about it making you sick. Just a little nauseated and hard to breath is what it will do. Thats in the low 150's but when you get any higher than that you do not want to be in the car for it will make you through up.
I am working on a new project for my cobalt and i like to see what it does. but once i put my CF trunk on i will not get to do anything anymore with that kind of pressure and vibes it will crack the the fiberglass.

what he ment was its impossible to hit 200db not its impossible to have a meter that reads that high (and no offence but personally i wouldnt trust that meter)... sorta like having a speedo that goes to 500mph on a ls model balt. It may be able to read that high but theres no way in hell the car can go that fast
You create a new atmosphere at that high of db. Will never happen.

ya im going to mess around with it a lil more but ultimatly im going to scrap what i currently have and change it to a more sq build with 2 15" 05 XXX tuned low. But im going to try and do removable ports so i can tune higher for a few spl shows

honestly what do you think would be louder?
3500w on a single 15 MT
or 3500w on a pair of 05 15" XXX

Thats easy man, with the same power and speaker efficiency, two subs will always be louder then one. Remember, x32 as much power to move one speaker up 10db, but by adding a second speaker you only need about x2 power.

ya but im pretty sure the mt has a higher efficency since it is of course a spl woofer. and i was also concerned about the port tuning (like i said i want it interchangeable but im not sure if i can do so with areo ports without any screw holes for mounting)
