Question Low beams with high beams? (Projectors)

I am trying to figure out how to use a relay to wire up my low beams to stay on with my high beams in my projector set. I am trying to figure out this thread..

yourcobalt. com/forums/install-guides-diy/23962-how-make-your-low-beams-stay-your-high-beams.html

But they aren't very clear on where to get the 12v source and what relay to specifically buy that has the same pin layout as mentioned in the topic and they also failed to mention what gauge wiring should be used to carry the current for the high and low beams. i would post there but the thread was closed. Any help would rock.

btw, i dont use any ballasts or whatever, just a straight plug and play setup.. my halos and leds are wired into my parking lights but that shouldnt affect the lows and highs at all.

WARNING:
This IS NOT recommended if you are NOT using the relay harness to power your ballast.

I don't use a ballast to power my headlamps, what does this mean?

Also, I don't want to use the 12v power source as a direct battery terminal.. Is there another source that wouldn't require an inline fuse?

ya the jumper post on the fuse box. theres a thick wire going from that to the battery so you can add whatever you need for the most part there
