Melted Wires

Hey guys, ill keep this short, i dont have a lot of time to investigate myself, 2000 watt amp, 2 12" kickers, wires melted...go

Too big of fuse, too much power, too small of a gauge wire.

Or the wires grounded out somewhere causing a short...

Right off the top of my head I'd say too small gauge.

x2 depends on which wires but no fuse or too big of a fuse + wire thats too small. also remember what kind of wire you have does matter. there is such a thing at "4g" that has about 10g of copper clad aluminum so can really only carry current equal to 12g copper wire
