Mount DashDAQ where Boost gauge is?
Mount DashDAQ where Boost gauge is?
I have a 2009 Cobalt SS and it has a boost gauge mounted on the pillar. I would like to remove the boost gauge and "permanently" mount a DashDAQ in this location. I am looking for ideas on how to do that. Any suggestion for brackets to do that would be welcome. If there is someone in the group who can fabricate something, I will be willing to pay for a mount. Any suggestions.
I don't know, man.
I like the idea in theory, but getting the a-pillar trim to support that kind of weight could be problematic.
You could mount it to the body and mold the trim to surround it, but then you would have the side curtain airbags to contend with.
How much does the DashDaq weigh?

Never heard of a DashDAQ. Looks pretty bitchin. Plugs into the OBD2?
wow. just saw the price tag on it. for that price, i'd hope it was damn good.
