MP3 players with stock radio

I just bought a Zen V plus and got the connector. I tried hooking it up to the imput jack of my Cobalt's radio, switched it to Aux. and got no sound. Played around with the connectors on both ends but still nothing...Any ideas?

Do you have the volume on the MP3 player up all the way? I have an iPod that I use in my Cobalt and I have to turn its volume up to the max before you can hear it.

Yeah, it's all the way up...I want to go to a dealership and test it on different cars to determine if it's the player or the vehicle itself.

It could very well be in your AUX input jack. I bought a $6 cord from RadioShack and haven't had any problems with it, and it's not even "Made for iPod." I would definitely check into this.

Yeah I did.

Picking up a new jack sounds like a good idea.
