Anywaysss I left it unplugged for like 24 hrs give or take and plugged it back up with no luck...on my harness I have a fuse on the red 12v wire and another glass fuse on the yellow "back up (to battery)" wire. When I unplugged the glass fuse it blew my RDO fuse in the fuse box if that helps at all...I'm going to look at fuses in the exterior fuse box because I'm almost positive this had to do with me adding in that 2nd ground wire since the HU went dead RIGHT after I installed the wire

well in most cases the constant is where it gets power from and the acc is like a remote wire persay

dont know if that helps or not

Damn that's weird cause the constant is tapped into some wire on the old radio harness and the acc (red 12v) gets connected to some grey wire that's in that fat loom of wires that runs through the car...I might disconnect both those and reroute to wires that I know forsure are constant and switched 12v

Still dead as a doornob...I'm pissed

I bench tested it by hooking it up to a car battery charger that puts put 12v supposedly...ACC and Constant on positive and grounded and nothing....this blows cause I liked this HU

I think I know what happened...the RDO fuse is suppose to be 15a and I just realized I had a 20a one in it's place and when I reconnected my battery it must hve sent a surge and fried it...you think 20a or less of power could fry it? My first bench test was with a car battery charger but I'm about to try it on my acctual battery just to be sure. Btw the HU didn't spark or smoke when it got fucked
