Question My Stereo Cuts Out! Help

SO im running a line output converter, 1 sony 10" 1100 watt, and a sony 1000 watt amp, with stinger wires. The damn thing if i turn it up to loud the sub cuts out how do i fix this? Oh yeah by the way i know sony sucks so dont waste your time telling me that.. It aint how loud the stereo is, its how fast your car is.

Thanks for the help!

Your amp is "clipping".......that is where it is being overpowered and it will cut out.......to fix this you must turn down the GAIN button on the amp.....its usually a small screw with a slot in it and is usually very easy to find......most people crank the gain right to the max to get more volume out of the sub but this is really bad for the amp and for the sound quality as well.......turn the gain down a bit and that should fix your problem........Later
