no the ohms (impedance) the amp sees is dependent on the sub. If you have a single voice coil you only have one option whatever ohm the speaker is. If its a dual you can wire it 2 diffrent ways

so it's on the sub then? lol sry i'm just trying to figure this stuff out. maybe there should be a how-to on wiring different ohms
