i failed to take install pics of the speakers but crossovers are on top of rear deck and rear speaker plates are made out of plexiglass. front speakers just drilled holes and screwed in.

odd yes built to sub and car trunk room also yes. i fell most big boxs to fit in small areas are kinda funny looking. and yes those speakers are quite nice to listen to.
