you can also take apart the xbox and makeing your own custom case for it takeing it down in size and makeing it more compact . i would suggest like spyder said mounting it under the rear deck and useing wireless controlers or if u want wired setup useing the extention cables for the controlers. ive been thinking about mounting my xbox / xbox 360 and my ps2 in my trunk but as of right now i do not have a screen and thats what im waiting on but first i must get my business up and running

You can also get a dc computer powersupply and use that. Then you wouldnt need a dc/ac inverter.

That's the link to the finished product. Ya it's custom made by me. took me about 3 days to complete just cuz i work 10 hour days and could only work alittle each day. it's made of wood, and wrapped in vinyl. I thought about making the how to after i already was basically done so it was too late to start if u need explaining i can do my best or u can toss me 20 bucks and i'll make it myself for you

mount it under the rear deck in the trunk facing foreward. so all you have to do is flip thwe seat down to swap the game.

A slim box would be ideal. You could even just make a box out of MDF or use an old VCR or something and mount all the parts inside of it. The xbox is basically a computer and is the simplest system to rearrange the parts. I put mine in an old 1989 Toy from the cartoon show Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I used shredders technodrome lol.
