New head unit

New head unit

i just put in a touch screen DVD player and i grounded out the e-brake wire so i can watch while driving lol. but only thing is i can only hear like background music during movies not their voices... anyone know whats up?

Its a long shot but does the Head unit have dual zone on it.

nope dual zone wouldnt cause that... what unit do u have derlex? and does it sound good on real cds(no burns)?

yes it sounds good with everything else even when i hook up my mp3 player

nope problem is unit itself.... those xovision anything is crap. warrenty to sales ratio on every xovision we have sold was 100%. infact one guy warrentied his dvd player 3 times

i'd stick with alpine or pioneer head units. it might be costly but you get what you pay for.

i'd go with a pioneer AVH-4000DVD alot better quality. its actually brand new. just got it in this week at work. it retails for about $499. im debating gettting it

uhh this sounds like a problem with a setting somewhere for your speaker selection. Most movies output voices through the center channel, so if you dont have on hooked up somewhere foggett about it. Try going into the audio menu on the dvd and selecting 2 channel stereo. Otherwise keep looking in your settings for the mistake.

at least get a jensen bro... thats what i got i cant afford the pioneer or other high end dvd player so i got this one... AND I LOVE IT
