Prolly gonna have to be a bit more Descriptive on how you're setting it up and such. You sure you have all connections solid? Check them 3 times?

I got one from Besy Buy. I have everything connected, including the red to the red on the steering column for power, but some people are saying that the stock amp overrides it i guess.

Stock Amp is not turning on. There is a write up in the sticky that answers your question.

The only wire on the harness not connected to the same color is the blue remote wire. people said that it would work if i plugged it intothe blue with white cord but i stillget no sound. Radio works no sound. I hate this setup. It's got to be something with the factory amp.

u need the remote wire from the sony to hook up to the stock amp. Look on your stock harness.... on the actual car harness part and find the PINK wire. It should line up with the blue wire on the "car harness" u bought and hooked up. If not you will need to some how connect that wire with ur blue/white remote on the sony harness. I dont really recommend cutting ur harness but what u do is up to u

Thanks, I finally got it work after a trial and error process. I needed to connect the grey (amp) wire, (thats what it said on it), from the aftermarket harness. The only thing i can't get to work is the steering wheel volume controls. (didn't put much time into that b/c it got dark out). The only wire not connected to something on the aftermarket harness is the blue (remote) wire. I really don't know what i'm doing, but i guess thats how we all learn. lol

meh thats more of a rare occasion of a different wire color. It happens and u gotta be on ur feet for it but most of the times people use standard colors
